Joann Rachel Stewart's Obituary
Joann Rachel Stewart, 77, of Fredericksburg departed this earth to be with the Lord, Sunday March 18, 2012, while surrounded by her loving family and caregiver of three years, Deborah Combs.
Joann is survived by three daughters, Darlene Perin and her husband, Billy of Fredericksburg, Cheryl Daoulas and her husband, John of Chesterfield and Mary Furrow and her partner, Michael Rollins of Spotsylvania County; a brother, Don Dellarso and his wife, Ange of California; a sister, Theresa Bernardi and her husband, Tony of Pennsylvania; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, John (Jack) Stewart, Jr.
Joann’s family will receive friends Thursday, March 22, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels-Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A funeral service will be held Friday, March 23, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Bob Shultz officiating. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, Joann’s family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Alzheimer’s Association, 2217 Princess Anne Street, #106-1F, Fredericksburg, VA 22401.
