Joan Frances Good's Obituary
Joan Frances Good, 79, passed away March 1, 2022, at her home in Ruther Glen VA.
Joan was a military spouse for many years, and enjoyed supporting her husband in his career. Her family meant everything to her, and she also became a surrogate mother to many of her children’s friends over the years. Joan was also a wonderful cook, a welcoming neighbor, and a friend to many.
She is survived by her devoted husband of more than 60 years, Jim Good, sons Jeff Good (Tammy), James Michael Good (Betsy), and daughter Debbie Good. Joan also leaves behind her adoring grandchildren, Jeff Richard Good, Savanna Good, Madison Good, Tommy Good, and Matthew Haggar. Joan was preceded in death by her parents Jeff Thompson and Kathryn Burrows, stepmother Jean Thompson, and sister Florence Palmer.
The family requests condolences be made in the form of a donation to the American Cancer Society.
