Jesse “Whimpy” Pierce, 96, of Culpeper, passed peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, October 16, 2022. He was preceded in death in 2015 by his loving wife of 65 years, Ruth Pierce. He is survived by his sister, Jean Hester of Richmo Read Obituary

My sympathy goes out to the family and friends of Whimpy. I can't think of him without also thinking of Ruth. They were such a wonderful pair of dear and dearly beloved people. They were so happy when they became part of Bethel Baptist Church, and they were regular in their attendance. They also loved having the buffet lunch at Pepper's in their retirement days. They were intelligent and motivated and supportive of each other, and I was delighted to count them as friends. I know that they are resting in peace together. May God bless us all in our loss.
