There are many fond memories shared with Jerry and Stewart as their love of sports in high school playing football and also the many softball games later on. Jerry was a life long friend growing up together in Snell and Travelers Rest Baptist Church. Many good times shared between our families. Jerry always had a big smile on his face and ready to share a good laugh. Rest in peace my friend. You fought the fight, the race is won. My prayers for comfort and peace to DeDra and all of Jerry’s family.

Family, My mother Beryl would always talk about when she and my father Ennis married, Jerry was a little boy and he would stay at the Dickinson family home and he would sleep with them. She always enjoyed telling that story to family. Jerry held a very special place in my mother's heart and i'm pretty sure he knew that. In later years after my father passed, Jerry would come if ask to assist my brother Robert with a plumbing problem. We appreciated him and his generous ways more than he ever knew i'm sure. We live our lives as a tale that is told and i think Jerry's was one he would be very proud of. In Memory, Phillip
