Jeremy Allan Cook's Obituary
Jeremy Allan Cook, 39, passed away on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at his home in Spotsylvania County, Virginia. Born May 27,1986 in Fredericksburg, Virginia, Jeremy lived a life filled with passion for family, adventure, and the things he loved most. Known to his wife as Batman and Twatwaffle to his sister-in-law.
Jeremy was a man who found joy in the simple pleasures of life-whether revving up an engine under the hood of a classic car or launching his RC truck off a dirt hill in the front yard. His love for vehicles extended beyond his own hobbies; he took great pride in sharing that knowledge with his niece and nephews. Teaching them about cars and RC trucks became one of his greatest joys, and many cherished memories were made during those moments spent together.
A devoted gamer, Jeremy enjoyed countless hours playing video games, often alongside his niece and nephews, creating bonds that went far beyond the screen. He also had a deep love for travel. Whether it was attending Urbanna Oyster Festival, heading to Florida, or simply enjoying a day at the beach, Jeremy embraced every opportunity to explore and make memories with those closest to him.
At the heart of Jeremy’s world was his beloved puppy daughter, Misty (daddy’s girl). Their bond was unbreakable and brought him immense comfort and happiness.
Jeremy passed peacefully in the arms of his wife Katie at their home, surrounded by the family who stood by him through everything, the ones who mattered most to him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Katie; sister-in-law, Sara and her husband, Louis; one niece, Jasmine; four nephews, Ethan, Ezra, Eli, and little Louis; father-in-law, Ronnie; mother-in-law, Jeanne; brothers-in-law, Carl and Victor; his mother; his sister; and numerous aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his father, Allan; paternal grandparents, Mavis and Levine; maternal grandparents; and his best friend, Patrick.
Jeremy’s presence will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew him. May his memory bring comfort to those who loved him.
