Jeraldine Yvonne Frye's Obituary
Jeraldine Yvonne Frye, 76, of Culpeper died Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at Novant Health Systems UVA Culpeper Hospital. She was born December 29, 1946 in Charlottesville to the late Otha Harrison Williams and Pauline Jeanette Noakes Williams.
Jeraldine adored her cats and all types and colors of flowers. When she was able to, she could be found by a pond or lake fishing or heading to Atlantic City. In her free time she could be found at home watching her westerns, especially Gunsmoke.
Jeraldine is survived by her children, Michelle Foulks (Mike), Alison Washington (Rodney), Stoney A. Frye, Jr., and Shannon Frye (Shelley); grandchildren, Julian O’Neal Washington, Amber Marie Frye, Jackson Clinton Frye, Harrison Hamilton Frye, Devon Nicole Walters, and Shannon Alex Frye, Jr.; one sister, Cordelia Roy (Russell); childhood friend for life, Linda Foster (Robert); and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Stoney A. Frye, Sr.; one sister, Sandrea Fowler; and one son-in-law, Robert Foulks.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service.
Interment will follow at Nazareth Baptist Church, 11475 Twin Lakes Ln, Boston, VA 22713.
Pallbearers serving the family will be Russell Roy, Jr., Chris Roy, Marcus Roy, Reggie Frye, Stanley Frye, Mike Talley, Freddie Banks, and Warran Banks. Honorary pallbearer will be Jimmy Tyler.
