Jennifer Lynn Rucker's Obituary
Jennifer Lynn Rucker passed away on July 17, 2022 at the age of 30 in a car accident. Jennifer was born on March 25, 1992 in Falls Church, VA. In 2000, Jennifer moved with her family to Fredericksburg, VA.
She proudly graduated from Courtland High School in 2010 with perfect attendance, a goal she had been determined to accomplish since her freshman year. In school, Jennifer was a member of the Cross-Country and Track and Field teams. She was also active in DECA.
Upon graduating, she attended Northern Virginia Community College before starting her professional career. For the last 11 years, Jennifer has worked in various positions in the medical industry. She was passionate about her career and was valued among those she worked with.
More than anything, Jennifer loved spending her time with her family and friends. The “Annual Family Beach Week” at Ocean Isle, NC was the highlight of her summer for 30 consecutive years. Jennifer’s loving nature extended to all animals, but especially to her dog, Blackie and cat, Molly.
Jennifer is survived by her father, Greg Rucker; her mother, Sharon Caldwell; and her stepfather, Ken Caldwell. She is also survived by her brother, Daniel Rucker; sisters, Madison and Emma Caldwell; and grandmother, Linda Renkes.
Jennifer will be remembered by her aunts, uncles, cousins, and her many friends whom she loved so much.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Fredericksburg SPCA.
