Jennifer Margaret Lamoureux's Obituary
Jennifer Lamoureux, 51, of Stafford County, passed away Saturday, February 25, 2012 while at home with her loving family.
Jennifer’s life was best remembered as a devoted wife and loving mother. She had many interests, which included gardening, going to the local Opp Shop in Fredericksburg, and being a passionate environmentalist. She possessed a magnetic personality that brought smiles to all who met her.
Jennifer leaves behind her husband after 32 years of marriage, Randall Lamoureux; three sons, Staff Sergeant Jeremy and Kelly Lamoureux, Russ and Patty Lamoureux, and Dustin Lamoureux; and her BFF, Joyce Wright. She also leaves behind sisters, nieces, nephews, and a host of other close friends.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her father, Baxter F. Jackson and her brother, Butch Jackson.
Jennifer’s family will receive friends Thursday, March 1, 2012 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels-Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg.
A funeral service will be held Friday, March 2, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. at Aquia Episcopal Church, 2938 Jefferson Davis Highway, Stafford, with the Rev. Jay Morris officiating. Interment will follow in Quantico National Cemetery at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, Jennifer’s family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations in her name to the Stafford County SPCA, 2101 Jefferson Davis Hwy, 2nd Floor, Stafford, VA 22554.
