Marie was such a wonderful woman. My kids loved when she would leave goody bags on our door, especially during holidays. May her soul Rest In Peace and her family find comfort in this time of mourning. I am very sorry and will be keeping the family in my prayers and thoughts. She is no longer in pain and not suffering anymore. There is no place like Heaven <3

There are so many wonderful memories I have of Mama. From her amazing smile, our long talks, to her sweet little sayings. I have never met another woman as strong as she and I feel blessed to have had her in my life. From the day I met her she welcomed me and my daughters into her family with open arms and she always showed her love for us. My girls love their MawMaw and miss her too. I made her promises that I intend to keep as with her your words are written in stone.
She loved her boys more than anything and showed them always. Carnis and Jeffrey ware blessed to have had such an amazing mother. I know she is an angel watching over them as she was an angel here on earth.

Marie was always smiling and would say nice things always gave me lots of hugs and kisses. I remember the first time I met her and she smiled and said Dee Dee we are family give me a hug and that is what I will miss...I know she will always be in our thoughts.....
Marie was truly an amazing woman and will be greatly missed by her friends and family. I am saddened that in the last few years we had lost touch and I was not able to see or speak to her before she went to be with Jesus. Marie was a very strong woman and we can take comfort in knowing she is no longer suffering in heaven. I will always have the great memories with Marie from when I was growing up living in Manassas. To Carnius and Jeffrey your mother was always proud of you two in what wonderful young men you have grown into. She will always be your angel in heaven looking down on you smiling, guiding and walking beside you. My heart goes out to you two and I am deeply sadden for the passing of your mother.
