Jeffrey Wayne Bowers, Sr.'s Obituary
Jeffrey Wayne Bowers, Sr., 42, of Culpeper died Thursday, December 3, 2015. He was born February 20, 1973 in Culpeper to John Russell Bowers, Jr. and Deborah Settle Timbers.
Jeff was a loving and beloved husband, father, son and brother. There was nothing more precious to him than his family.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen Bowers; two children, Jeffrey Wayne Bowers, Jr. and Kayla Reneé Bowers, all of Culpeper; his stepmother, Brenda Bowers; his stepfather, Lacy Timbers; four siblings, Christy Miller and her husband, Robbie of Rhoadesville, Carrie Gallahan and her husband, Lee of Front Royal, Dustin Bowers of Culpeper and Lisa Shook of Russell County; his grandmother, Shirley Hall of Culpeper; and his grandfather, Charles Settle.
Additional survivors include his mother and father-in-law, Keith and Darlene Shifflett; and nieces and nephews, Ashley Gallahan, Amanda Gallahan, Alyssa Miller, and Travis and Sean Parrish. He is also preceded in death by his great-grandmother Mattie Mae ‘Big Momma’ Corbin.
He was preceded in death by one brother, John Russell “Rusty” Bowers, III.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Found and Sons Funeral Chapel.
Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
