Jeanne Arlyn Reed's Obituary
Jeanne A. Reed, 86, of Fredericksburg, passed away on Monday, October 10, 2022.
Jeanne was born in Washington, D.C., was a longtime resident of Bethesda, Maryland, and lived in Germany, and Virginia. Jeanne loved crafts – her knitted Christmas stockings are legendary – her beach home, extended family, and gathering for the holidays. Jeanne was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend to many. She will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Doug Reed; her sons, Terence Herman (Patti), Patrick Herman, and Christopher Herman; her stepsons, Paul Reed (Kim), Christopher Reed (Diane), and Jeffrey Reed (Joanne); her sister Mary Ellen Brodie; and her grandchildren, Katelyn Sheehan and Ryan Sheehan.
A celebration of her life will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 27, 2022 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Rd, Fredericksburg.
