Jean Gray Hamilton G-Maw's Obituary
Jean Gray Hamilton (G-Maw), 77, of Richardsville died Friday, January 19, 2007 at her residence. She was born July 15, 1929 in Culpeper, VA to the late John Ashby Hitt and Willie Fleetwood Brown Hitt.
Mrs. Hamilton was a member of Oakland Baptist Church.
Survivors include her two daughters, Gloria Hamilton of Luray, VA, and Donna Hamilton of Calverton, VA, two sisters, Eloise Morris of Waynesboro, VA, and Ann Lambeth of Alexandria, VA.
Additional survivors include her grandchildren, Ann Donald and her husband, Roger, George Lillard and his wife, Alicia, Ryan Griffin and his wife, Serrena, and Brooke Lillard, and her great grandchildren, Luke Donald, Heather Lillard, Trevor Griffin, Allison Lillard, Sayer Griffin, and Emily Donald.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl J. Hamilton, and her great grandson, Jakeb Donald.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at 11 a.m. at Culpeper National Cemetery (Old) with Rev. James Taylor officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Richardsville Rescue Squad, 29361 Eleys Ford Rd., Richardsville, VA 22736 &/or Community Hospice, 3302 Bourbon St., Fredericksburg, VA 22408.
