Jeanette Faye Payne's Obituary
Jeanette Faye Payne, 66, of Fredericksburg passed away Friday, July 8, 2016, at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center.
Jeanette was a loving and funny person who brought a smile to everyone she met. She always had a great sense of humor and was a joy to be around. She loved her family deeply, especially her grandchildren and her animals. She had three dogs of her own but spent a great deal of her time helping several local cats, even getting them spayed or neutered at the Virginia Kincheloe Animal Clinic.
Jeanette is survived by her two daughters, Sherry Payne (Bobby) and Tina Smith (Tom); a brother, Freddy Stodgel (Tracy); a sister, Susan Stodgel; and four grandchildren, Zachary, Logan, Lexi and Charlie. She also leaves behind many other friends and family, as well as her dogs, Oscar, Sammy and Bella.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents, Alexander and Mary Stodgel, and a brother, Billy Stodgel.
Jeanette’s family will be having a celebration of her life at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 23, at her daughter, Tina’s, home.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of charitable donations to Virginia Kincheloe Animal Clinic, 452 TV Drive Fredericksburg, VA 22408.
