Jean Louise Dempsey's Obituary
Jean Louise Dempsey (87) of Boston, VA. passed from this earth into the presence of Jesus, at home, on June 8, 2018.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Charles, of Boston, VA., her parents
Mr. & Mrs. Roland Dennis, her dear Aunt Helen Smith of Binghamton, N.Y., a brother, Robert and his wife Patricia of Georgia.
She is survived by her beloved sons, John Dempsey and his wife Thim, their son Jason
(Ann) and granddaughters Eva and Elise; and daughter, Shannon Dempsey. Robert
Dempsey and his wife, Deborah, and their children, Lisa (Jeremy Durst) and grandsons
Bryce and Beckett. Jori (Jay Soni) and their children Kieran and Sophia. Helene (Steve
Norris) and their children Samantha and Calvin. Amanda (Sean Adresen). Natalie Dempsey and Jonathan Szott; and son Richard Dempsey and his wife Lynn.
Additional survivors are John Smith and wife, Frances, of Johnson City, N.Y.
Other survivors include all her friends of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church, who were faithful during her illness in 2010 and through the years. She loved them all.
She was a 1948 graduate of Binghamton North High School, Binghamton, N.Y.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 17, 2018 at 3 p.m. at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church, 19 Scrabble Road, Boston, VA 22713. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service.
Interment will be held on Monday, June 18, 2018 at Stonewall Memory Gardens, 12004 Lee Hwy., Manassas, VA 20109.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church.
