Jean Ann Biggar's Obituary
Jean A Biggar (Miller), 87, formerly of Atkinson, New Hampshire died peacefully on October 19, 2024 in Frederiksberg, Virginia.
She was born on April 23, 1937, in Haverhill, Massachusetts to the late Alexander Miller and Dorothy Miller (Hill).
Jean was a graduate at Haverhill High School and worked for many years as a LPN at the Hannah Dustin Nursing Home before retiring in 2002.
A former dedicated member of the Trinity Bible and Christian Fellowship Baptist Church of Londonderry, New Hampshire along with Piedmont Church of Marietta, Georgia. Jean was a devout Christian who selflessly served others in their time of need. She will be remembered for her unwavering faith as well as being a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend.
Jean is survived by her three sons, James Biggar,Jr. and his wife, Michele, of Oscoda MI, Mark Biggar and his wife, Deborah of Atkinson, NH, and Scott Biggar and his wife, Genelle of Fredericksburg, VA; son-in-law, Gary Layne of Marietta, GA; eight grandchildren, Sheli Lefebvre, Danny Biggar, Michael Biggar, Christopher Biggar, Jennifer Osbeck, Victoria Thompson, Benjamin Layne and Jacob Biggar; as well as numerous great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, James Biggar; her daughter, Carol Layne (Biggar); sisters, Betty Gilbert (Miller) and Janet Arahovites (Miller).
Services are to be held at a later date in Haverhill, Massachusetts.
