I had the pleasure of working closely with Jean here at Germanna up until she retired. She was a fun person to work with and she cared for the students and staff. She always had a smile on her face and she always made you laugh. She always talked about her family and grandchildren she was so fond of all them. She will be missed by all! I am so sorry to see this. I worked with Jean at Germanna Community College in the 90's. She was always very pleasant and enjoyed working with her. So sorry for your loss. My dad was 95 when he passed and even though we were lucky to have them that long, it's still not long enough.....Kim Graham
when my sister Barbara was married Brenda,myself and Mom went to visit The Arnettes farm. well during my trying to be a daredevil I flipped the bike I was on and broke my arm. she came when she heard the screams,comforted me and carried me into the house. she was so gentle and loving I never forgot it. love you aunt jean
So many fun memories from spending time with you and your family. You and your Mom introduced me to softshell crab sandwiches.. I remember your mom could not believe that I didn't like them.. ;) Your mother was so gracious about it.. she let me order something else! Your Mom's light still shines.. in heaven and now shinning down from there on you and your families. She may be gone from your sight, but the memories are now treasures in all of your hearts and no one can take them from you. <3 Much love and hugs to you Kim. I understand how hard this is for you.
