J.D. Brown's Obituary
J.D. “Kirk” Brown, 59, of Scottsville, VA, died Sunday, September 9, 2007 at Martha Jefferson Hospital. He was born April 12, 1948 in Lynchburg, VA to the late Charles Brown and Sarah Frances McKinley.
Kirk founded Green Street Theater in Key West, Florida and was very involved in the theater. He just recently opened Herring Creek Market in May in Charles City before his illness.
He is survived by his daughter, Karen Fay and her husband, Gary of Culpeper and Ansley Brown of Honolulu, HI.
Additional survivors include his grandchildren, Danielle Smoot, Riley Fay and Meagan Fay all of Culpeper, Brother, Michael Brown, sister, Kathleen Rigsby of Richmond, VA, sister-in-law, Rita Brown of Key West, FL, and a special friend, Fern Dickinson.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 13, 2007 at 6 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701 with the family receiving friends two hours prior to the service.
