I just learned of Jason's passing and I just had to reach out. I didn't know him long, having met him in January, soon after starting a new job here in Seattle.
But, I can say that Jason was key to many successful projects which positively impacted the lives of millions of people around the world. He was a truly gifted and intelligent technologist who loved his family. He ALWAYS had a smile on his face and a quick wit. I admired him.
Today he was needed, because we just KNEW he'd remember our issue just like he worked on it yesterday, when we learned that he was gone.
He has been, and will continue to be missed. Thank you for sharing him with us.
