Janis Shaw
Janis Shaw, 65, of Spotsylvania County, passed away Sunday, January 11, 2009 at her home.
Janis was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth J. Shaw, Jr.
She is survived by her two sons, Michael R. Shaw and his wife, Michele of Spotsylvania and William B. Shaw and his wife, Cheryl of North Dakota; one daughter, Jamii M. Yanick and her husband, Robert of Pennsylvania; ten grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
Janis was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She is the 10th of twelve children to George and Alpha Baye.
A memorial service will be held Monday, March 2, 2009 at 10:00 am at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels ~ Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg, Virginia 22407. Interment will follow at Arlington National Cemetery at 2:00 pm.
