Janice D. Newman's Obituary
Janice Dorothy Edwards Newman, 63, of Fredericksburg, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 19, 2019.
She enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews, as well as taking care of the many pets that she loved throughout the years. Janice also enjoyed working outside in the flower beds at her home.
Janice was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Dorothy Edwards; and a brother, Ricky Edwards.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Larry Newman, of Fredericksburg; two brothers, Gary Edwards of Florida and Stephen Edwards of New York; and many nieces, and nephews that she loved dearly.
Janice’s family will receive friends from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Thursday, April 25, 2019 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A funeral service will follow at 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 29, 2019 in Mount Hope Cemetery in Hastings On Hudson, New York.
