Janice E. Lewis' Obituary
Janice Evon Lewis, 54 of Culpeper, passed to eternal rest on Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at Culpeper Regional Hospital. Born December 13, 1955 in Warrenton, VA, she was the daughter of the late Horace M. and Jessie W. Williams.
Mrs. Lewis became a member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church in Midland at an early age. She was a very loving and caring person for those that were sick, for family, people in the community, neighbors and friends. Her hobbies were gardening and fishing.
She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Henry Clay (Sonny) Lewis, III; a son, Henry Clay Lewis, IV and his wife, Tamara of Culpeper; one sister, Sharon O’Byrne and her husband, Thomas of Remington; one brother, Carleton Williams of Midland and one aunt, Marion Thompson of Washington, D.C. Also surviving are her two dear cousins, Shirley W. Payne and her husband, Morris of Catlett, Frances Williams of Manassas; nephew, Stephen O’Byrne and his wife, Brooke of Front Royal; brother-in-law, Russell Lewis and his wife, Barbara of Culpeper and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701 with Rev. Reed Frye conducting the service.
Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the family c/o Found and Sons Funeral Chapel.
