Janice Felts Harris' Obituary
Janice Felts Harris, 77, of San Diego, CA, formerly of Galax, VA, passed away on August 6, 2014. She was born November 7, 1936 in Galax, VA to the late Charlie and Roxie Felts.
Janice was retired from County of San Diego.
She is survived by two children, Rae Ann Williams of Temecula, CA and Dale Harris of Vista, CA; three grandchildren, Brandi Williams, Cory Williams and Tyler McAlister, all of Temecula, CA; and one sister, Joyce Young of Culpeper, VA.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Master Chief USN (Ret) Earl G. Harris; her 5 month old son, Earl Rae; her 5 year old daughter, Jane Ann; and three brothers, Dale, Ralph “Tooper” and Gray Felts.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 2 pm at Blue Ridge Chapel Baptist Church, 1559 Max Lane, Galax, VA 24333 with Rev. David Moore officiating.
Inurnment will follow in the church cemetery.
