Janet Faye Frazier Peregory's Obituary
Janet Faye Frazier Peregory, 44 of Castleton, VA passed away peacefully Sunday, September 21, 2008 at Fauquier Hospital. She was born September 24, 1963 to Shelvy H. Frazier and the late Francis Burke Frazier.
Janet attended Massonova Pentecostal Church. She was a member of the National Honor Society and a graduate of Rappahannock County High School.
In addition to her father and step mother, Montrue M. Frazier, she is survived by Joe Peregory, one son, Joseph W. Peregory II, one daughter, Jennifer R. Peregory, two step brothers, Charles R. Whorton of Woodville, Ray T. Whorton of Castleton, and one step sister, Nancy Robinson of Deland, FL.
Additional survivors include two uncles, Russell Burke of Columbia, SC and Frank Ray Frazier, Jr, and his wife, Phyllis of Boston, VA, three aunts, Marie Atkins of Sperryville, Esther Frazier of Fredericksburg, and Mary Burke of Rochelle, many other close brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, and a multitude of friends.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 23, 2008 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Massonova Pentecostal Church with Rev. L.D. Savage and Pastor J.T. Pittman, II officiating.
Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Joel Peregory, Reuben Schultz, Byron Ryder, Quinton Weatherholt, Daniel Peregory, and Mike Kerns. Honorary pallbearers include Matthew Bragg, Kenny Peregory, Mark Bragg, Michael Heflin and Jacob Heflin.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Castleton Volunteer Fire Department, 593 Castleton View Rd., Castleton, VA 22716.
