Janet Regan Wagner's Obituary
Janet Regan Wagner passed away, Monday, May 13, 2013 after a brief illness. She was born January 18, 1933 in Danbury, CT. She worked in her family’s diner on Shelter Rock Rd until she met and married “Ronnie” in 1954. Together they travelled the world following his career until retiring in their favorite place, Fredericksburg, Virginia. Janet was an avid bowler and enjoyed crocheting. At various times throughout her life she was a healthcare volunteer and made many friends.
Janet is predeceased by her parents, Freida and Herbert Regan; four sisters and two brothers, Betty Anderson, Pauline Vassak, Shirley Mullins, Nancy McKay, Herbert Regan, Jr. and Walter Regan.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Ronald A. Wagner; daughter, Lindalee Stroud and husband, Simon of Fredericksburg, VA and Teriann Scarantino and husband, Pasquale of Tampa, FL; her beloved grandchildren, Joseph Marek and wife, Theresa, Danalee Scozzafava and husband, Jason, and Justin Duda and wife, Candy. She was also a great grandmother to Gwenevere Scozzafava, Fiona Scozzafava and Addison Marek.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
