Janet Marie Johnson
Janet Marie Johnson, 66, of Culpeper passed away Thursday, January 13, 2011 at her residence. She was born January 17, 1944 in Culpeper to the late Johnny M. and Catherine Delf Smith.
She is survived by her three children, Jena Clore and her husband, Michael, Jeff Jenkins and his wife, Sandra and Tammy Lynn Atkins and her husband, Adam, all of Culpeper, the father of her children, Billy Jenkins also of Culpeper, five siblings, Stella Johnson, Mary Thomas, Brenda Smith, Jimmy Smith and Sandy Reaves, four grandchildren, David Story, Jr., Coty Atkins, Aaliyah and Kira Clore and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her companion for over 20 years, Lawrence Danes, and two sisters, Octavia Fitzgerald and Susie Soutter.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 18, 2011 from 7 to 9p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at 2p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels, Culpeper with Pastor Alpheus Atkins officiating.
Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers named are David Story, Jr., Coty Atkins, Michael Wayne Fincham, Chris Sutphin, Ronnie Lee and Greg Thomas.
