Janet Marie Jett's Obituary
Janet Marie Jett, 72, of Stafford County passed away Sunday, May 20, 2012 at her home.
Janet was a master seamstress. She loved singing and traveling.
Janet is survived by her husband of 56 years, John T. Jett, Jr.; two daughters, Avola Riggs and her husband, Earl of Texas and Jennifer Jett of Stafford; a son, John Jett, III and his wife, Brenda of Spotsylvania County; a grandson, Joshua Jett; two brothers, Paul and Eddie Renfro; and a sister, Donna Derry, all of Texas; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Maddox and Helen Renfro and her children, James, Linda and Glenda Jett.
Janet’s family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 a.m., Friday, May 25, 2012 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels-Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg with the funeral service to begin at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Tim Reffner officiating. Interment will follow in Quantico National Cemetery at 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, Janet’s family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations in her name to Nursing Scholarship Fund, Germanna Community College Education Foundation, 2130 Germanna Highway, Locust Grove, VA 22508.
