Janet Irene Farris' Obituary
Janet Farris, age 74, of Manassas, passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2012.
She was born in Ellsworth, Maine on April 18, 1937. She was a proud member of the Red Hatters. She enjoyed ceramics, needlepoint and outings with friends and family. In her professional life, she was an insurance underwriter until her retirement.
Survivors include four sisters, Patricia Kapella, Beverly Payne, Jeanne Olson and Deborah Burnett; she is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sister Margo Conklin and her mother Marguerite Parker.
A celebration of her life will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, February 18th at the
Buckhall United Methodist Church, 10251 Moore Dr. Manassas, VA 20111.
Refreshments will be offered after the service.
