Janet Marie Clater's Obituary
Janet Marie Lillard Clater, 78, passed away June 28, 2016 in Roanoke, VA. She was born December 31, 1937 to the late Walter Allen Lillard and Catherine Elizabeth Utz in Washington, VA. She was the wife to the late Gid Brown Clater.
She worked in the Rappahannock School System until she retired.
She is survived by her siblings; brothers Walter Richard Lillard and his wife Joyce Lillard of Sperryville, Va. and James Lillard and his wife betty Lillard of Culpeper, Va.; her nieces Sherry Lynn Lillard of Rixeyville, Va. And Kimberly Lillard of Culpeper, Va.; and her nephew Walter Richard Lillard, Jr. and his wife Melissa Lillard of Flint Hill, Va.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday July 6, 2016 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper.
A funeral service will be held Thursday July 7, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper. Officiating the service will be Rev. John Burke and Rev. John Heddleston.
Interment will follow at Sperryville Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Greg Wayland, Bobby Foster, Gary Settle, Chucky Jenkins, Richie Lillard, and David Merritt.
