Janet Lee Baker's Obituary
Janet Lee Baker, 75, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at Mary Washington Hospital.
Janet loved her family, especially her grandkids. She enjoyed the holidays and the outdoors. In her younger years, she would work alongside her husband doing yardwork and other chores.
Janet is survived by her husband of 55 years, Charles Baker; children, Alice Bowling of Arkansas, and Scott Baker (Amy) of Spotsylvania; five grandchildren, Ashley Bowling, Shawn Bowling, Samantha Bowling, Tyler Baker, and Collin Baker; two special friends, Bea and Marshall Fitzgerald; as well as many other close friends.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Patsy Rogers and her brother, Lawson Scott.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, April 11, 2022 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 12, 2022 in the funeral home chapel. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. in Mount Comfort Cemetery, Alexandria, VA.
