Jane Lalande LaRock's Obituary
Jane Lalande LaRock, 91, of Culpeper, left this life and was welcomed into Heaven on Sunday, June 13, 2021. She lived a rich and full life devoted to the service of God, her family, and others. She will be sorely missed.
She was born December 11, 1929 in Oswego, New York to the late John Clark Lalande and Marie McKeone Lalande.
Mrs. LaRock is survived by nine children, William LaRock, Jr. (Beth) of Leesburg, Jane Hartwick of Gerrardstown, WV, David LaRock (Joanne) of Hamilton, James LaRock (MaryAnn) of Gambrills, MD, Charles LaRock (Victoria) of Sterling, Mary Bonney (John) of Sterling, Ann Martin (David) of Warrenton, Kathleen Kailey (Daniel) of Springfield and Joseph LaRock (Lisa) of Bluemont. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mrs. LaRock is preceded in death by her husband, William Edward “Bill” LaRock.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Found and Sons Chapel with Pastor Baker Rigg officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Sperryville Pike, Culpeper.
Pallbearers will be Mrs. LaRock’s five sons and her eldest grandson, David LaRock, Jr.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Our Father’s House Christian Home, 15261 Jubilee Rd, Culpeper, VA 22701, where she was so warmly and capably cared for in her final days on earth.
