James Robert Kelly Wood's Obituary
James Robert Kelly Wood, 82, of Culpeper died Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at Culpeper Regional Hospital. He was born August 23, 1926 in Culpeper, VA to the late James Newman and Princy Jenkins Wood.
Mr. Wood retired from A&P after 32 years as an accountant and from Clark’s Hardware with over 20 years of service. He loved pets especially his dogs, Snoopy and Abby.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Arlene U. Wood of Culpeper, two sisters, Opal Wood Clater of Manassas and Betty Lou Krashoc of Maryland, his son-in-law, Donald Gonyeau of Vermont, and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Deborah Arlene Gonyeau.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Hillcrest Memory Gardens with Rev. John Farrar and Rev. Ralph Wilson officiating.
