James Harry Gray
James Harry Gray, age 89, passed away on July 1, 2009 at his home in Manassas, VA
Jim was a member of the Haymarket Baptist Church also owner and operator, of Manassas Cleaners. He had served during WWII in the Army where he received a purple heart.
Jim is preceded in death by his late wife of 53 years Ruth T. Gray, a son James T. Gray, two brothers, Harry Gray and Joe Gray.
Survivors include his loving wife Marie W. Gray, one daughter, LuRee Flatt of Manassas, VA; one son, Tom Gray, wife Ann of Gainesville, VA; two brothers, Al Gray, wife Marge of Beltsville MD, and Jack Gray of Lebanon, PA; five grandchildren, four great- grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Jim’s family will receive friends on Monday, July 6, 2009 from 3:00-5:00 pm and 7:00-9:00 pm at Found and Sons Lee Funeral Chapel, 8521 Sudley Road, Manassas, VA 20109. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday July 7, 2009 at 11:00 am at Haymarket Baptist Church, 14800 Washington St. Haymarket, VA 20169. Interment to follow at National Memorial Park, Falls Church, VA Expressions of sympathy may take the form of flowers or contributions to Haymarket Baptist Church, 14800 Washington St. Haymarket, VA 20169 or Capital Hospice, 6565 Arlington Blvd Suite 501, Falls Church, VA 22042.
