James M. Wedding Sr.'s Obituary
James M. Wedding Sr., 64, of Fredericksburg passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2016.
James was a hard worker and a family man. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to someone in need. James loved yard work, gardening and helping his neighbors.
He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Joyce, of Fredericksburg, his children, Jamie Wedding (Kayla), William Wedding (Paula), all of Hanover County, and Tammy Wedding (Elliot) of North Carolina, three brothers, Harry Wedding (Darlene) of Woodford, Dickie Wedding (Shirley) and Joe Wedding (Doris), all of Hanover, two sisters, Virgie Welch, and Mary Payne (Doodle), all of Fredericksburg, nine grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and a host of extended family and friends.
James’ family will receive friends from 6 pm to 8 pm Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels, 10719 Courthouse Rd, Fredericksburg, where a funeral service will take place at 11 am on Wednesday, December 28, 2016. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
