James Edward Sisk's Obituary
James Edward Sisk, 40, of Culpeper died Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville. He was born February 11, 1972 in Culpeper to James Oscar Sisk and Nancy Ellen Nethers Sisk.
He graduated from Culpeper High School. His life’s work was with Sisk Tree Experts where he learned from his uncle Eugene to be a tree climber and was one of the best. He loved fishing, hunting and Nascar. He had a passion for collecting McCoy cookie jars. He was a loving and caring person and leaves behind to cherish his memory, his parents Jimmie and Nancy Sisk of Culpeper. A son Davey Sisk and daughter Allison Sisk of Culpeper, his love of his life and mother of his children and companion of 20 years Jennifer Sowers of Culpeper. Two sisters Robin Frazier of Culpeper and Carol Pulm of Chester, Va. A brother Tony Sisk of Culpeper. He has many family and friends that loved him so.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother Laura Wharton and a uncle David Wharton along with grandparents Eldon and Flora Sisk.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, April 3, 2012 2:00 PM at Sperryville Cemetery with Rev. Charles Clinedinst officiating.
