James Robison's Obituary
James Robison, 77, of Fredericksburg, died Friday March 6, 2026 at his home. He was born November 19, 1948 in Alexandria to the late Haymond and Charlene Robison.
James proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Army. Following his military service, he dedicated many years to working in the construction industry. Outside of work, he enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, especially sharing good meals and time with those around him.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Jo Robison; his four children, Kim Marie Robison-Williams (Aaron L.), Angela Kristine Robison-Naugle (Eric L.), Chad Robison (Niki), and Jaime Robison; eleven grandchildren, Noah Andrew Stathers, David “Austin” Stathers (Samantha), Hayley Ann Simmons, Madelaine Grace Simmons, Jake Robison, Eva Robison, Santos Robison, Tobias “Tobi” Robison, Ethan Beatty (Lydia), Julianna Payne (Will), and Izabella “Bella” Beatty; six great grandchildren, Shelby Stathers, Cooper Stathers, Luke Taylor, Bryce Payne, Gideon Beatty, and Adaline Beatty; four siblings, Roger Robison, Sharon Robison, Hayward Robison and Kenny Robison.
In addition to his parents, James is preceded in death by six siblings, and one grandson, Gabriel Robison.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jim Shelton and his grandson, Ethan Beatty officiating, at Culpeper National Cemetery, 501 E. Chandler Street, Culpeper, VA. A funeral procession will begin at 10:45 a.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
Pallbearers serving the family are Roger Robison, Sr., Jacob Robison, Ethan Beatty, Roger Robison, Jason Robison and Cameron Robison.
Honorary Pallbearer will be Chad Robison.
