James Franklin Peters' Obituary
James Franklin Peters, 42, of Culpeper died Monday, February 24, 2014 at his residence. He was born April 17, 1971 in Fayetteville, NC to Franklin and Barbara Spillman Peters.
Mr. Peters spent most of his life in Culpeper and was owner and operator of Cleancut, TLC, Inc. He attended Culpeper Baptist Church and was a proud Eagle Scout, had an associate's degree in Electrical Engineering and loved metal detecting.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Annette Peters; five children, James Peters, Jr. of Culpeper, Christopher Peters and his wife, Kristina of Orange, Kara Peters , Kasey Peters of Culpeper and Jacob Peters of Culpeper; and seven siblings, Leonard Peters and his wife, Lori of Culpeper, Stewart Wynham and his wife, Diane of Madison, Andrew Wynham and his wife, Alyson of Madison, Susan Foltz and her husband, Art of Spotsylvania, Mary Kutik of FL and Tammy Lyons of NJ, and Jim and Kathy Sears.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ethel and Robert Peters; one brother, Robert “Robby” Peters; one sister, Nancy Vanasse; and one close cousin, Matthew Peters.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 2, 2014 from 6 to 8 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel.
A funeral service will be held immediately afterwards at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Andy Wynham and Apostle Gregory Simpson officiating.
Interment will be held in a private ceremony at Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Christopher Peters, James Peters, Jr., Tony Fincham, Jerett Jenkins, Boo Cooper and Troy Cooper. Honorary pallbearers will be Lewis Hoffman and Daren Snow.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the family made payable to Annette Peters, 10952 Mountain Run Lake Rd., Culpeper, VA 22701.
