James Eugene Mitchell's Obituary
James Eugene Mitchell, 81, of Spotsylvania County, passed away Monday, August 2, 2021.
He was the son of the late Lloyd and Alice Bird. James was a beloved family man with a big heart. He served in the United States Army, completing two tours in Vietnam.
James is survived by his daughters, Tammy Rose (Tony), and Tanya DeLano (Milo); grandchildren, Kaitlynn Rollins (Eliott), Kody McLaughlin, Julie McLaughlin, and Tiffani DeLano; great-grandson, Spencer Rollins; and cousins, Vicky Kline, Dina Boeam, Donald and Shirley Smith, and Faye Tull; and numerous extended family members.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. Burial will follow in Quantico National Cemetery with military honors.
