James Minor
James Isiah Minor, 85, of Bowling Green, passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at Retreat Hospital in Richmond.
Mr. Minor is survived by his wife, Ellen Minor; daughter, Linda Derricotte; stepson, Leon Hicks; stepdaughter, Merle Lewis; two devoted nephews, Claude W. Minor and Darryl Minor; and numerous other grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.
James’ family will recieve friends from 4:00 ~ 7:00 pm on Sunday, April 5, 2009 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels~Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg, VA. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am at the funeral chapel Monday, April 6, 2009 with the Rev. Elvis Ferguson officiating. Interment will follow in H & L Brown Cemetery in Caroline County.
