James Wesley Keys, Sr.'s Obituary
James Wesley Keys, Sr., 82, of Culpeper, VA passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at Culpeper Regional Hospital. He was born on April 7, 1932 in Inwood, WV to the late Raymond and Virgie Keys.
Survivors include two daughters; Deborah Lee Deane and her husband, Ronald J. Deane of Culpeper, and Donna Kay Keys of Culpeper; two sons, James Wesley “Jay” Keys, Jr. and his wife, Priscilla C. Keys of Woodville, and Kevin Keith Keys of Culpeper; three grandchildren, Steve LaCroix Hudnall of Culpeper, Tiffany Dawn Keys of Woodville and James Wesley “Jamie” Keys, III and his wife, Martha Helen Keys of Flint Hill; brother, Raymond A. Keys and his wife, Mabelle Keys of Culpeper; sister, Patsy Fincham and her husband, Roy J. Fincham of Culpeper; two sisters-in-law, Carol Ruth Osborne and her husband, Thomas Monroe Osborne of Culpeper, and Linda Kay Stacy of Culpeper; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, MaryLou Keys; brother, John G. Keys; and sister, Betty Fincham.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 2, 2014 at 11 am at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper with Pastor Joel Cress officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
Gentleman serving as pallbearers are Honorary, Raymond A. Keys, George Weaver, Charles Thomas, Devon Critzer, Gary Osborne, Steve Webber and Tommy Fincham.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of James Wesley Keys, Sr. to UVA H.O.P.E. Cancer Center, 545 Sunset Lane, Culpeper, VA 22701.
The family wishes to express their appreciation to the staff of UVA H.O.P.E. Cancer Center, Culpeper Regional Hospital for the care and kindness they demonstrated to James. A special thank you to Carol Phillips.
