James Moncure Jones' Obituary
James Moncure Jones, 83, of Culpeper died Monday, February 9, 2015 at UVA Culpeper Hospital. He was born December 15, 1931 in Brandy Station to the late Russell R. and Elizabeth Suder Jones.
Mr. Jones was a lifelong resident of Culpeper and attended Culpeper Assembly of God. He loved carpentry and was the retired owner and operator of J.M. Jones Milk Transportation. He was committed to his family and will be remembered as a loving husband, father and brother.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Frances Tuel Jones; one daughter, Robin Lynn Jones; and four siblings, Elsie J. Garrett of Oak Harbor, WA, Donald E. Jones of Warrenton, Reginald R. Jones, Sr. of Alexandria and Victor A. Jones of Amissville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Sandra Hope Jones; one son, Ronnie Moncure Jones; and five siblings, Robert L. Jones, John R. Jones, Betty J. Cook, Richard R. Jones and Judy J. Feaganes.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 from 6 to 8 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at 12 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Pastor Randy Albritton officiating.
Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jim Lischke, Ricky Tuel, Jeff Whetzel, Ricky Jones, John Jones, Steve Jones, Tony Fincham and Tony Cook.
Found and Sons Funeral Chapel of Culpeper is serving the family.
