James Dillard Hitt's Obituary
James Dillard Hitt, 60, of Culpeper died Saturday, March 3, 2012 at his residence. He was born July 22, 1951 in Tacoma Park, MD to the late Amos Dillard and Jean Gertrude Smith Hitt.
Mr. Hitt enjoyed motorcycles, spending time with his family and loved telling oil field and trucking stories.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Huffman Hitt, one brother, Wayne Allen Leatherman and his wife, Glynnda and their son, Allen Jr. of TX as well as numerous other nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Earl Wayne Banks, two sisters, Mildred Edna Wilson and Katherine Ann Mercado and one brother, Richard Theodore Hitt.
Services will be private.
