James Himes' Obituary
James William Himes, 58, of Heritage Hall King George, VA, died Thursday, December 21, 2006, at Mary Washington Hospital.
He was born and raised in Reynoldsville, PA.
James was a Vietnam Veteran and served in the Army as a Green Beret. His last employment was as a Resident Manager of Hillcrest Apartment in Fredericksburg, VA.
He is survived by his Mother, Georgia (Fuller) Flick, of Reynoldsville, PA; a daughter, Tonia Himes, of Reynoldsville, PA; five stepsons, Russ DuBeck, Allen Park, both of Fredericksburg,VA, Aaron DuBeck, of Jackson, OH, Chris DuBeck, of Tampa, FL and Steve Snyder, of Orlando FL; two sisters, Shirley Slack, of Hamburg, NY and Barbara Johns of Phillipsburg, PA; five brothers, Rudolph T. Slack of DuBois, PA, Dr. John L. Slack of Washington, DC, Richard A Slack of Goodyear, AZ, Robert L. Slack of Cheltenham, MD and Kenneth T. Himes, Pittsburgh, PA, along with eight grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Thursday, December 28, 2006 at from 10:00-11:00 am at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels-Cremation Service, at the corner of Courthouse Road and Southpoint Parkway. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 am with the Rev. Bette Goglia officiating. Interment with military honors will be at 2:00 pm at Quantico National Cemetery, Triangle, VA.
