Brenda thinking of you an family, sending comfort in your time of loss. I remember both your Dad (and your Mom very well). They both were always kind and loving neighbors. I fondly remember the farm almost next door <3 to where I grew up. Their door always open, they both were always so welcoming with a smile & a "hello". As a kid I would visit with school fundraisers and they always participated, supporting our local the schools.
I have great memories of Uncle Mal and the farm. I really enjoyed spending part of my summers as kid in Virginia visiting my Grandparents. The fist place I would go, is to see Uncle Mal. I Loved baling hay and getting to drive the tractors. He had the biggest smile and a giving heart. You will be missed. Praying for you Brenda.

I saw my Uncle Mal turn the family farm into a jewel and masterpiece over my lifetime, along with everyone always speaking very highly of him. Perhaps the animals along with nature could exclaim with family and friends "What a Man"

Mr. Hill was a fine hard working gentleman. I never heard anyone say anything bad about him. He lived a good long life. My thoughts and prayers are with the Family; during these difficult times.
So very sorry for your loss. I remember Mal from the store at Catalpa. My father, Leonard Pullen Sr, would stop and talk with Mal oftentimes at the store. I know it is hard to lose a father or anyone for that matter. I know Mal lived a long and happy life. I always remember him just smiling. Prayers for peace at this tender time and in the days ahead. May memories comfort you.
