James Albert Graninger's Obituary
James A. Graninger, 86, of Spotsylvania County passed away Friday, February 4, 2022 at his home.
He was affectionately known as Mr. G by his family and friends. James was a proud veteran of the United States Navy.
Survivors include two daughters, Cathy and Joyce, two stepdaughters, Diane and Susan, and her husband, Gilbert; numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Phyllis G. Graninger.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, February 17, 2022 in Sunset Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to the Fredericksburg Food Bank, 3631 Lee Hill Dr., Fredericksburg VA 22408 or Mary Washington Hospice, 2300 Fall Hill Ave #401 B, Fredericksburg, VA 22401.
