James Leonard Gibson's Obituary
James Leonard Gibson, 76, of Culpeper, VA died on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at his residence. He was born March 9, 1944 in Scott County, VA to the late Ezra and Mary Gibson.
Leonard is survived by his wife of 54 years, Kathleen Gibson, two children; Cynthia Lillard and her husband, Timothy, and Jonathan Wayne Gibson and his wife, Angela, his sister; Emma Drone, three grandchildren; Wesley Lillard, Bethany Welter and her husband, Connor, and Briana Faith Gibson. He was also anxiously awaiting the arrival of his first great grandchild; Emma Mackenzie Welter. He is also survived by a host of additional family members.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings; Chester Gibson, Opal Boswick, Ruby Lawson, Kathleen Smith, Junior Gibson, Roy Gibson, Lee Jackson Gibson, and Nannie Pearl Baker.
