James Franklin Frazier's Obituary
James Franklin Frazier, 80, of Pfafftown, NC, formerly of Culpeper, died unexpectedly Tuesday, May 16, 2017, at his home. He was born June 18, 1936, in Culpeper to the late Carroll and Laura Durham Frazier.
He leaves his wife of 58 years, Betty Warring Frazier; three daughters, Darlene Hoffman and her husband, David of VA, April Darnell and her husband, Kyle of VA, and Jeana Holdstock and her husband, Steven of NC; one brother, John Frazier and his wife, Mary Ann of MD; 10 grandchildren, Amber, Ryan, Bethany, Nathanael, Amy, Jillian, Jonathan, Jordan, Zane and Justin; 16 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Carol “C.H.” Henry Frazier and one sister Mary.
James enjoyed a life well lived and one defined by faithfulness in all areas-husband, father, friend, coworker, countryman, and follower of Jesus Christ. James retired from his work as an appraiser for J.D. Eicher Builders in 2005.
The family will receive friends on Monday, May 22, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville, Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels.
Interment will follow at Culpeper National Cemetery with military honors provided by Culpeper VFW Post 2524.
