James Franklin Fincham's Obituary
James Franklin Fincham, 72, of Boston died Friday, March 4, 2016 at his residence. He was born March 12, 1943 in Rappahannock County to the late Aubrey Fincham and the late Dollie Jenkins Fincham.
Mr. Fincham retired from the Virginia Department of Transportation. He enjoyed traveling, bingo, music festivals and playing cards, but his passion was deer hunting with his best friend, Wayne Miller, of Brightwood. He was a member of Winston Memorial Chapel.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Judith Marie Jenkins Fincham, and a daughter, Molly Elizabeth Wood and her husband, Jason, of Culpeper. Additional survivors include two granddaughters, Shelby Elizabeth and Taylor Danielle Wood.
He is also survived by two nieces, Joan C. Fincham of Lignum and Tina Gordon of Culpeper, a great-niece, Brandi Gordon, a sister-in-law, Florine Miller, all of Culpeper, and an adoptive daughter, Wanda Carpenter of Madison.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, John Marshall Fincham.
The family will receive friends on Monday, March 7, 201 6 from 6-8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, Virginia.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 8, at 2 p.m. in the Found and Sons Chapel with Pastor Lee Brown officiating.
Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Miller, T. W. Miller, Justin Shifflett, Ray Snow, Tony Cooke and Tony Miller.
