James Robert Dyer's Obituary
James Robert Dyer, 83, of Rixeyville died Monday, July 20, 2015 at his residence. He was born February 17, 1932 in Shanghai, China to the late Harrill and Louise Rector Dyer.
He is survived by one daughter, Margaret Dyer and her husband, Timothy Boren of Rixeyville; son-in-law Jeff Avery; three grandchildren, Dana and Scot Farquharson and Randy Dyer; and one great granddaughter, Chloe Dyer.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife who passed on May 16, 2015, Betty Jo Dyer; one daughter, Barbara Dyer Avery; and one grandchild Brandon Ferris.
The family will hold a memorial service on Monday, August 3, 2015 at 11 am at Little Fork Episcopal Church, 16461 Oak Shade Rd. Rixeyville, VA.
