James Lloyd Dodson's Obituary
James Lloyd Dodson, 69, of Reva, VA passed away on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at Culpeper Medical Center. He was born March 18, 1956 to the late Archie and Francis Fincham Dodson in Warren County, VA.
Jimmy had a deep love for the outdoors and found joy in hunting, fishing, and spending time in nature. One of his favorite pastimes was taking the T-Rex into the woods, where he enjoyed watching deer and all kinds of wildlife. He was known for his giving heart and was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. His kindness, generosity, and passion for the outdoors will be remembered by all who knew him.
Jimmy is survived by his wife, Peggy Burgess Dodson; son, Timothy Dodson and wife, Shelly; granddaughter, Grace Dodson; siblings, Donnie, George, Steve, Randy, John, Archie, Faye, Joan, Peggy, Patty, Sue, and Judy; and a host of extended family and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at 12 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel of Culpeper, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 11 a.m.
Pallbearers serving the family will be his brothers, George, Archie, Donnie, Randy, and John, and Ryan and Jerry.
