James Thomas Dempsey, Sr.'s Obituary
James Thomas Dempsey, Sr., 62, of Elkwood died Monday, June 25, 2018 at Novant Health UVA Health System Culpeper Medical Center. He was born April 30, 1956 in Manassas to the late Edward and Mary Foust Dempsey.
He is survived by two children, Heaven Joy Wood and James Thomas Dempsey, both of Manassas; two sisters, Diane Patricia Hooks of Remington, and Jennie Lynn Fewell of Flint Hill, VA; and five grandchildren, Tyler, Kyle, Cody, Amber and Bailey.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Edward Leon Dempsey, Jr., Kenneth Wayne Dempsey, and Robert Lee Dempsey.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at 6 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
